YOU CAN TAKE A PLANE TO A DIFFERENT CLIMATE

And that's what we did. We had to go all the way to Tampa, Florida, to escape the snow and cold. Every day we marveled at how easy it was to step outside without gearing up for freezing temperatures, how easy it was to drive on roads without snow, and how simply delightful it was to see green again. We got home last night. Happily, the icicles are melting off the roof, and the driveway and sidewalks are becoming visible again. Still, it's going to take a LONG time for all the snow to melt. But we had a great week of warmth and white beach sand to remember. Warmly.
