This is a fun project to do with young children.
You will need:
a piece of wood (these are 1" x 2")--any length, a lonely knit glove, seam binding, white paint, white glitter, buttons
STEP 1: Paint the board white. While the paint is wet, sprinkle glitter on front side of snowman. Let dry.
STEP 2: Find a lonesome, mismatched, cheap glove in last year's winter gear. Snip off the ends of the glove fingers. Tie them up with seam binding (either inside or outside the glove) to form a hat. At this point, you will find the mate to the glove you just ruined. Oh well.
STEP 3: Glue the buttons on. I used a glue gun. It made me feel powerful. (Never let children use the glue gun!)
STEP 4: Tie a seam binding scarf around the snowman's neck. Or use whatever material you like. It just needs to keep him warm until, . . . . oh, May or June.

I love your Snowman Boards! So creative - looks like a fun craft to work on while we are in the deep freeze.
So where do I find a knit glove?!
It should be noted that people who live IN THE TROPICS need to have a friend in the frozen north who can mail a glove to you. It's the only way you're going to get a snowman in the Bahamas!!!
