A mere month before I can plant the garden, I discovered a full-grown icicle growing on a bush under the drip line of the roof. Icicles are feats of nature that require dripping water, freezing temperatures, and gravity. There actually is a mathematical formula for the shape of an icicle. This one, however, is breaking all the rules, with one arm bending to the side before giving in fully to gravity. I'm tired of ice, and I have tried to NOT see the beauty of this icicle. But it just IS beautiful.
