Christmas traditions span generations

Oh, what a pretty star!
Jasper showed a star ornament to Great-Grandma Ruth before he put it on her Christmas tree. Ruth has shared her Christmas traditions with three generations now. We've heard her childhood stories, dared to eat on her mother's special Christmas tablecloth, and eaten wonderful German dishes that have survived into the modern age. We'll keep some of her traditions and add some of our own, and we'll pass those down to future generations. That's how we remember.

Yes, it's a strawberry with a big bite out of it.
