About 25 years ago Buzz and I installed our own backyard patio. We worked so hard, trying to make the surface flat, yet sloped away from the house. It actually turned out pretty well, and we have enjoyed it all these years. But, alas, our Minnesota winters were hard on the patio, and Buzz and I are 25 years older. This summer, 8 sturdy young men and a Bobcat ripped out the old patio and installed a new one. It's just cement, but it looks like stone. We're lovin' our new outdoor space.
