Signs of fall #4: Temperature fluctuations

Minnesota is famous for its wide, sweeping fluctuations in the weather. People say if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. It's not far from the truth. The first few days of fall have been warm and sunny during the days and only a bit cool at night.  At the cabin we can build a fire in the fireplace to suit the temperature. When it's not quite cold enough for a full-blown log fire, we light lots of little fires. It gives the same cozy light, but none of the heat. Suggestion: Use unscented candles.
