What to do with Easter leftovers

Too many Easter leftovers? Ham's what am? Peeps a plenty? Well, throw your ham in the freezer, and do something fun with the Peeps.  If you can make Rice Krispie bars, then you can make Peep Sushi.  Here's how.  Make the traditional recipe for Rice Krispie treats:

3 Tablespoons butter
1 bag (10 oz.) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Melt butter in large pot. Add marshmallows. Stir until melted. Remove from heat. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted butter and marshmallow. Stir to mix.  Dump the mix onto a large sheet of waxed paper. Using a buttered spatula, pat into a thin rectangle.  Lay a row of peeps (bunnies or chicks) the entire length of the Rice Krispie rectangle. Using the waxed paper, roll the Krispie mix the long way, curling it over and around the row of Peeps.  Let it set for at least a half hour.  Slice the sushi (a bread knife works best).

I love how your mind works! It looks like a crab leg wrapped in sticky rice :-)

These were yummy! Jasper and I like to make the peeps "scream" when we bite into them.
