Springtime in Minnesota

We used to have four seasons in Minnesota. But the world is changing, and there are now six months of winter.  It is April. Our spirits are longing for gardens, bird songs, Easter bunnies, sunshine, and purple things sprouting out of the ground. Green! We want green!   But we are snowed in . . . AGAIN.  The  mood here is getting ugly, and the airport is standing-room-only full of people trying to escape to warmer weather.  Help us! Give us sun, that we may see the potholes again. Bring on the road construction and mosquitos. We are hardy Minnesotans, but we have our limits.
