Newborns and poultry at the Minnesota State Fair

Doesn't matter how old you are, EVERYONE enjoys seeing newborn animals. So there we were, squeezed in with a bunch of 5-year-olds, trying to get a good look at newborns in the Miracle of Birth barn. I couldn't help noticing that all the babies faced their moms, whether or not they were feeding. It was sweet.

Cousin Debbie has chickens on her farm, so we took a thorough tour of the poultry barn. You can't visit these birds without a smile on your face.

The one on the right was asleep in his food dish.

Huh?

Then we came to the turkeys.

I love the Miracle of Birth barn! It's one of my favorite things at the fair! Love the "hairdo" on that chicken! And I think the turkey needs a facelift.
