A short story of perseverance

Once there was a little boy and six colorful ping pong balls. The boy picked up the balls one by one--first yellow, then purple, green, orange, and finally pink and blue.

Just when he had successfully picked up the last two balls, he dropped the blue and yellow ones. It must have been very important to collect all the balls, and he persevered.

Closing his eyes, and clutching the balls to his middle, he carefully slid his feet to the blanket on the ground where his mother was sitting and where he dropped them all.
