New Life

This is what we wait for all winter long. Gray skies turn blue, brown grass turns green, and bare branches sprout green buds. Tulips, crocuses, iris, and other flowers we forgot about pop up around the yard. Finally it is warm enough outside to rake up some of the dead leaves left over from last fall and plan what we will plant in the garden. This is my favorite time of year, when I can look forward to new life, growth, and harvest. Starting today, we'll work in the yard and garden every day--happily.

Click the PLAY button to watch the crocuses bloom.

This is such a wonderful time in Minnesota. Many shades of green for Buzz to admire! Waiting also, for news of other new life :-)

Hooray for spring and for blooming! Congrats on getting the video to work! It looks great. I think this is the nicest spring we've had in a long time. Or perhaps my perspective is biased this year. :)
